It's opening doors for Latino and African-American films to be seen by general audiences everywhere,” said Mark Harris, Producer of Una y Otra Vez. “We're not just asking for support, we're asking people to come out and see a truly amazing film."

First presented at the Chicago Latino Film Festival in April 2011, Una y Otra Vez (Over and Over Again) recounts the complicated life story of Oliveiro Maldonado, written by and based on the life of author and executive producer Fabio B. Herrera.

As a child living in the Andes of Colombia, Oliveiro is the innocent victim of abuse at the hands of unscrupulous adults. Now an adult himself and living with his wife and children in the United States, he succombs to temptation and greed that threatens to destroy his family and his sanity. He is a prisoner of his own demons, ultimately revealing the underlying nightmare at the core of his suffering.

“Controversial? Yes. Opportunities like this one are much bigger than the people behind them. This collaboration with AMC theaters to release Una y Otra Vez / Over and Over Again is just the beginning! It's opening doors for more Latino and African-American films from all over the world to be seen by general audiences everywhere,” said Mark Harris, Producer of Una y Otra Vez/Over and Over Again. “We're not just asking for support, we're asking people to go out and see a truly amazing film about a very controversial religious topic.”

Script written by Ricardo Islas, Executive Produced by Fabio Herrera, Produced by Mark Harris and 1555 Filmworks. Starring Fernando Patino, Paola Valdes, and Jenny Sanchez.
