Catapult Technology, Ltd., a leading Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) Information Technology (IT) contractor to the federal government, has won the Contractor Excellence in Partnership Award through the 2011 Excellence in Partnership (EIP) Awards, administered by the Coalition for Government Procurement (CGP). Catapult will be honored during a ceremony at the Crystal Gateway Marriott on October 26th, 2011.

The Coalition advocates a common-sense approach to government contracting, and represents the well-being of government contractors, whose contracts are administered by the General Services Administration (GSA).

Catapult was selected as the Contractor Excellence in Partnership by virtue of its use of the Veterans Technology Services (VETS) small business set-aside Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) and the 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS) GWAC. Catapult utilized these contract vehicles throughout its nine-year status as a small business, graduating from the 8(a) small business program in March 2010. The company remains the top STARS and VETS revenue-generator for the Federal Acquisition Services (FAS), a part of the GSA.

“With revenue of $160 million at the end of 2010, it is clear that the VETS and STARS vehicles have helped Catapult grow significantly over the last decade,” said Catapult CEO Randy J. Slager. “At the same time, we have helped our customers achieve their business objectives, generated significant revenue for FAS, and helped to promote other contractors’ use of the STARS and VETS GWACs.”

Slager added, “We are proud of the work we have done, and continue to do, under VETS and STARS, and extremely proud of winning this prestigious award.”
