Spices are alluring, exotic, and often confusing to home cooks. TableFare’s online Spice Library has descriptions and recipe suggestions for over 75 spices, blends, and salts, making cooking with spices more accessible and less intimidating. Each entry also has a link to World Spice Merchants making it easy to source hard-to-find spices.

The Spice Library links to World Spice Merchant’s site so it's easy to source any of the exotic spices, blends or salts listed in the Spice Library.

TableFare’s Spice Library is an online reference resource that now has descriptions and recipe suggestions for over 75 spices, blends, and salts. Each entry links to World Spice Merchants, a Seattle spice shop offering online ordering and world-wide shipping.

Along with selling the modular interlocking SpiceCare spice storage containers, TableFare owner, Carol Peterman, wants to be a rich resource of spice information and inspiration for customers.

“Storing spices properly is key to keeping them fresh and flavorful, but they’ll still lose flavor and aroma over time. The best solution for this is to use them up before the flavor has a chance to fade. Our Spice Library is one of the resources we offer to give cooks information, suggested uses and recipes for cooking with their spice collection. Once you become familiar with the flavor profiles and natural affinities of spices, it’s easy and fun to tuck little hits of flavor into dishes you cook every day.” – Carol Peterman

TableFare’s Spice Library will continue to expand as additional spices are added. Every new recipe posted on links to the related spices in the Spice Library to continually enrich this resource.

TableFare LLC is a Seattle-based company formed by Carol and David Peterman.
