SocialTwist announced its continued rapid growth today by adding two industry leaders to its management team. The company also announced that it closed its biggest quarter ever with revenues growing 60% over the previous quarter. The SocialTwist customer acquisition and retention platform creates viral referrals for businesses by using the social connections of their customers.

SocialTwist tapped Mark Dillon, former head of worldwide channel sales at Omniture, a division of Adobe, as Chief Revenue Officer of the company. Vijay Sundaram, co-founder of the leading cloud platform for supply chain and trade logistics GT Nexus, was appointed Chief Marketing Officer. Both appointments are effective immediately. This announcement comes on the heels of ex-Googler Sanjeev Agrawal’s joining the company in August as President.

Dillon and Sundaram bring to SocialTwist distinguished experience in building successful startups and scaling them to handle the needs to the most complex customers. At Omniture, Dillon managed a global team to build over $100 million in channel sales from the ground up for the company’s industry leading marketing analytics platform. He also ran direct and channel sales at WebSide Story prior to its acquisition by Omniture. Sundaram is a serial entrepreneur with two decades of experience building successful businesses from inception. In addition to GT Nexus where he led marketing and strategic new business opportunities, Sundaram co-founded a mobile advertising company focused on Asian telecom business, and a startup making solar-powered Stirling engines for developing markets.
