Imagine Band launches their student band and marching band social network later this month at the 2011 Wisconsin State Music Conference, which will be held at the Monona Terrace, Madison, Wisconsin between the 26th and 29th October.

The idea behind Imagine Band is to build an online community and social network for everyone associated with marching bands and student musicians, from band members, band directors, or even friends and family associated with the band. The network provides news, forums, photo profiles, video and text blogs, and allows band enthusiasts to be part of an online community specifically created for those that share similar interests.

It goes beyond the traditional Facebook and Twitter aspects too. Beyond just the integration of those popular social platforms, Imagine Band also allows members to create your own website for free, where one can easily add band news and customize a private social network so that the site owner can be in charge of communication.

All Imagine Band members have their own profile page, can share info with friends, organize events on their calendar and create groups. At the same time, they get access to the latest student band news and commentary about the musician community. Members also get special offers and can play games which give winners various prizes.

Part of the Imagine The Now network, including various sports sites from Lacrosse to Baseball, or upcoming sites such as Imagine Orchestra and Imagine Choir. And the best part is all members of each site can communicate with one another, whether choir members or soccer afficionados

Users can meet Imagine Band at the Wisconsin State Music Conference and find out how people can communicate with other band members online, find reviews on band equipment and read expert commentary from other marching band directors and students, and all in one place for free.
