  •     be assured that Gen Ed classes will be applied toward the degree they are pursuing at Henley-Putnam without concern for the transferability of credits,
  •     simplify and streamline the process of funding their education with the GI Bill or other Veteran’s benefits by applying only once for those benefits,
  •     satisfy Gen Ed requirements in the context of their strategic security education; students can apply essential skills such as comprehension, critical thinking, active learning, writing and ethics, under the conditions unique to working in the Strategic Security profession,
  •     begin sooner to leverage the HP-U network of faculty and mentors who are today’s leading practitioners in the field of strategic security.

We want to ensure that all Henley-Putnam curriculum and faculty continue to offer the greatest value to our student body.”

An Award-Winning University
Henley-Putnam University announced earlier this year that it was named the top online accredited university in the 2011 rankings: http://www.onlinedegreereviews.org/blog/2011-online-college-awards. This year Henley-Putnam University came in #1 in the 2011 rankings, with an aggregate score of 9.5 out of 10, even better than their #3 slot in last year’s 2010 rankings. That honor came on the heels of Henley-Putnam University’s distinction as a Military-Friendly School as ranked by G.I. Jobs Magazine, two years in a row. That list honors the top 15% of colleges, universities and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace America's veterans.

“While Henley-Putnam stands out as THE choice for a degree or certificate in strategic security, it’s our goal to ensure that our students can focus on learning from leading practitioners, rather than administrative hurdles and paperwork that comes with multiple applications and institutions,” stated Dr. Tina J. Pitt, Chief Academic Officer at Henley-Putnam University. “Our comprehensive GE offerings and our new Dean will ensure that Henley-Putnam students’ time is well-spent while they get a great education in strategic security, and gain knowledge and skills they can apply to their tradecraft as soon as they start their careers.”
