Pioneering New Cosmetic Treatments Revealed in Belgravia

Dr Barbara Kubicka, Aesthetic Medicine Physician based in Belgravia, has unveiled 2 exciting new cosmetic treatments to help patients turn back the clock.

While facial creams and even wrinkle-relaxing injections are widely understood for smoothing lines and wrinkles in the face, for many patients the neck remains a very challenging area, which can betray a person’s real age. Dr Barbara Kubicka’s new non-surgical neck rejuvenation treatment offers new hope.

Dr Barbara Kubicka has developed an exclusive treatment, cleverly combining two anti-ageing treatments. Firstly, dermal fillers are used to add volume into the deep creases that can appear in the neck. However, this is complemented by a course of Dermaroller micro-needling. The use of a Dermaroller to create thousands of tiny pin-pricks allows rapid absorption of powerful serums and vitamin products. The process stimulates the body’s own production of collagen, naturally adding volume and improving the skin’s texture.

Dr Kubicka explains: “The delicate neck skin is particularly susceptible to ageing. Where the skin stretches and sags, deep creases can appear; and this can be sadly exacerbated with weight loss. However, the combination of treatments used in neck rejuvenation have stunning results. Patients simply can’t believe that rather than their neck looking 15 years older than their faces, it now looks just the same. This combination of treatments is an alternative to a neck lift without the need for surgery and with almost no recovery time at all.”

A very similar approach has been used to treat long-standing scars.

Dr Barbara Kubicka said “During consultation and treatment, patients often discuss their face and body issues. Recently, I have seen a particular demand for an effective treatment to reduce scarring. Using dermal fillers right into the scar allows the careful addition of volume to the sunken area to build out and flatten the skin’s appearance. However, combining this short-term solution with a programme of Dermaroller treatment stimulates the skin to rebuild from within. Scar tissue is permanent. However, over a course of Dermaroller treatments, scars can be treated very effectively and become much less prominent and nearly unnoticeable in some cases.”

Dr Barbara Kubicka’s success is based on a unique blend of medical skill, knowledge and expertise; combined with a fine appreciation of facial aesthetics and a desire to help people to improve aspects of their appearances that they find disappointing or unsatisfactory. Her many years experience and ability to listen to her patients mean that she has a genuine understanding of what patient’s really want.

Her new clinic is based at 9a Halkin Street, Belgravia, London and offers a wide range of cosmetic treatments, including wrinkle-relaxing injections, fillers, peels and Dermaroller.
