Biddiscombe International of St. Petersburg, Florida is enhancing its sales capabilities to meet the growing demand for its UV-free, sunless tanning products with the addition of Kristen Valentin as Director, Sunless Sales. Ms. Valentin’s experience in the tanning industry and as the creator of a Pennsylvania sunless tanning business bolsters the capabilities of Biddiscombe to serve sunless professionals seeking quality support and products for their businesses.

“Sunless tanning utilizing FDA approved dihydroxyacetone (DHA) rather than UV rays from tanning beds or sunlight has shown real strength over the last year and is poised for exponential growth”, said John Melville, Biddiscombe’s President. “We have confidence in both sunless and the economy and are ready to bolster our staff. Ms. Valentin has extensive experience in both sales and tanning and has been a small business owner through her creation of Bella Sorrel Airbrush Tanning Studios and Day Spas. She was selected by the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) as a 2011/2012 “Professional Woman of the Year”, and winner of the 2011 “Leading Moms in Business” Competition - Celebrating Americas Top Mom Business Owners. Ms. Valentin is a licensed cosmetologist and is certified by the National Tanning Training Institute (NTTI) and Norvell University in the field of sunless tanning.
