Kids At Play (KAP), a production company comprised of Emmy nominated producers and award-winning directors and writers, will be producing an additional TV-style original programming for Yahoo!/Principato-Young/Electus. Kids At Play added to its two current series a new series entitled “Your Friends Will Never Believe You.” The company is currently producing the lauded “Let’s Talk About Love” and “Reluctantly Healthy.”
Hosted by Nickelodeon’s Ryan Rottman, “Your Friends Will Never Believe You” captures through hidden cameras the excitement of unsuspecting Americans meeting a celebrity….and later trying to convince their friends that the encounter really happened. Kids At Play already has two web series streaming under its arrangement with Yahoo!/Principato-Young/Electus: “Let’s Talk About Love,” a weekly relationship show hosted by comedienne Niecy Nash, and “Reluctantly Healthy,” starring comedic actress Judy Greer. The three shows are part of six Web series launched by Yahoo! in October. KAP has recently produced the highly viewed “Gourmoo Cooking,” a weekly TV-style cooking show.
Kids At Play has created material for motion pictures, television, commercials, and digital mediums. In July 2011, Kids At Play won two Empixx Awards for their video compilations for The Better Boys Foundation and Toshiba. The Empixx Awards are decided by a coalition of professionals and educators in the pixel media. For their well-regarded work, KAP has also recently won two Telly Awards for a six-spot campaign for Intel as well as a Communicator Award for three PSAs and Website created for the non-profit entity The Better Boys Foundation of Chicago, Illinois.
Founder and Executive Producer of Kids At Play, Jason Berger, received a Best Documentary Emmy nomination at age 25 from the Sports Emmy Awards for producing “Fearless,” which aired on the Outdoor Life Network (Versus). Berger has also produced the pilot for The Sports List which aired for 65 episodes on the Fox Sports Network. Kids At Play has produced and created many eye-catching campaigns through various mediums.
