When asked about Eva's performance, actor, director and teacher Eric Michael Gillett had this to say..."Every once in a while a unique talent comes along. Eva Burger is just that. Remember the name. Her remarkable capacity to connect with the audience and make them a part of her journey, her vocal versatility and the sheer beauty of her instrument, and the emotional depth she brings to every song she performs, all remind me of those great performers who have gone on to have long and acclaimed careers in the theatre. It’s a genuine pleasure working with her and I look forward to watching her career take flight.”
Originally from Rochester, NY, Eva has been performing in New York since her start at NYU’s highly regarded and competitive Tisch School of the Arts. She was most recently seen sharing a stage with Kelli O’Hara and Christopher Lloyd at the Weston Playhouse’s NYC Loves Vermont Benefit.
Memorable roles she has played include the title role in Anne of Green Gables and Evita, as well as Penny in Hairspray!
Eva makes an immediate connection with an audience and pulls them in with ease. As a performer, she is funny, likeable, and exudes a kind of warmth rarely found on stage.
Her most recent performance as well as other vocal recordings and videos can be found on her website, http://www.evaburger.com.
