Global LT, a leading provider of Language & Cultural Training, Translation and Expatriate Destination Services is proud to announce that Crain’s Detroit has nominated Owner and President, Hortensia Albertini as an Entrepreneur of the year finalist.
“Ms. Albertini deserves every bit of recognition. She is a true entrepreneur with a drive and passion that is unmatched in our industry,” says Kristin Lambert, Global Marketing Manager.
Hortensia Albertini, a minority from Cuba, started Global LT in 1979, with a phone and a filing cabinet in the kitchen of her home teaching Spanish to Executives. She soon grew to offering cultural training, translation services and expatriate destination services globally. The foundation for success has been to always give back to employees and the community. She has done so by donating to many charities that help raise money for animal shelters, families in need as well as breast cancer research. Global LT offices are adorned with employees from around the world, with over 25 languages spoke internally.
Crain’s Detroit Entrepreneur Awards Banquet will be held on November 17, 2012 at the Greektown Casino.
