We’ve been exceptionally fortunate to weather this tumultuous economy. I think it’s largely due to a systemic change in people’s values and a heightened awareness of health and wellness in the United States.

CorePower Yoga recently announced expansion plans for new regions, including Austin, TX, Hawaii, Seattle and Washington D.C. The announcement came shortly after the company was ranked for the first time in the Inc. 5000 and named Top Company by ColoradoBiz Magazine. Earlier in 2011, CorePower Yoga also won ACG’s Emerging Corporate Growth Award and Founder and CEO Trevor Tice won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Rocky Mountain Region.

Inc. Magazine ranked CorePower Yoga NO. 1302 on its fifth annual Inc. 500|5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. CorePower Yoga joined 98 other Colorado based companies on the Inc. 500|5000 list, coming in at NO. 27 in the state.

The ACG Emerging Corporate Growth Award honors companies with annual sales of less than $100 million that have demonstrated steady growth for three consecutive years. In a stagnant economic environment, CorePower Yoga generated $23.5 million revenue in 2010 with three-year sales growth of 222 percent.

ColoradoBiz Magazine recently named CorePower Yoga a Top Company 2011 Winner. The award recognizes the top Colorado based companies. CorePower Yoga was selected over GolfTEC and Oskar Blues Brewery as the 2011 Top Company in the Consumer Business category.

"We’ve been exceptionally fortunate to weather this tumultuous economy,” says CorePower Yoga Founder and CEO Trevor Tice. “I think it’s largely due to a systemic change in people’s values and a heightened awareness of health and wellness in the United States.”

In addition to bolstering its presence in its current regions (California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota and Oregon), CorePower Yoga is planning on expanding to Austin, TX, Washington D.C., Seattle and Honolulu in the next six months. The company currently operates 55 studios with plans to open 10-15 new studios each year for the next five years.
