I’m sure I learned as much from this experience as the interns did – if not more. The interns really challenged me, and I highly recommend that all energetic and adaptable Microsoft Certified Trainers consider volunteering for NetHope." - Mark Wheatley.
Irvine, CA (PRWEB) October 25, 2011
As the largest Microsoft Gold Learning Partner in the western United States, QuickStart Intelligence is proud to announce that senior Microsoft Certified Trainer, Mark Wheatley, volunteered to instruct a two-week boot camp course to future IT professionals in Haiti. This course contributed to the success of a rigorous six month IT program that includes specialized Microsoft courses, internships, and certification exams. In addition, students are required to invest hours of intense study and lab time.
Founded in 1988, QuickStart Intelligence is widely recognized as one of the leading providers of IT and Microsoft training courses in the western United States. With eight learning centers throughout the region, as well as virtual online classes, QuickStart is reaching students nationwide. Offering a robust course catalog with classes of all skill levels and interests for students, QuickStart has successfully enriched the careers of thousands of talented professionals.
The opportunity to support NetHope was an easy decision and aligned with our company’s core mission to provide the best IT learning solutions. The content in the boot camp course taught by Wheatley, offered through Microsoft academic partners only, closely resembles QuickStart’s MS-6292 and MS-6294 MOC offerings.
These classes prepare students and IT professionals to pass the MTA exam on Operating System Fundamentals and the 70-680 exam on Windows 7 configuration, which can be found in the Windows 7 learning path.
Those Windows 7 courses are:
- MS-6292 Installing and Configuring Windows 7 Client and
- MS-6294 Planning and Managing Windows 7 Desktop Deployments and Environments
Wheatley stated, “I’m sure I learned as much from this experience as the interns did – if not more. The interns really challenged me, and I highly recommend that all energetic and adaptable Microsoft Certified Trainers consider volunteering for NetHope. In thirty years of teaching, it doesn’t get much better than this. The energy, enthusiasm, and love felt during the Net Hope Academy training continue to inspire me each day.” The future of rebuilding Haiti lies in the development of its people and Mark positively influenced the careers and lives of the IT students in Haiti. A special thanks goes to NetHope for allowing QuickStart to participate in this wonderful program.
