Technical recruiters have since been looking to differentiate their abilities and in response to this comes an assessment created to engage the recruiter in real-life recruiting scenarios while setting a recruiter apart in this competitive environment. Through scenario based questions and answers, recruiters learn to identify required skills for different job roles, tell the difference between the skill sets, and learn what to ask hiring managers. All this is to ensure recruiters are able to find right the candidates in the shortest amount of time.

Though this is a follow-up assessment to the ‘Technology Made Simple for the Technical Recruiter’ book, it is also a standalone assessment for IT Recruiters who want to keep their skills up-to-date in the competitive field of IT Staffing and Recruiting. This assessment includes technologies used in three categories, software development, database and general technologies.

“My mission with this assessment is to increase the rate at which technical recruiters are able to realistically match candidates to job descriptions, and the confidence to communicate unrealistic technical requirements goals to hiring managers,” says Obi Ogbanufe, the author of Technology Made Simple for the Technical Recruiter.

Obi Ogbanufe is a SQL Database Developer who uses her experience and skills in IT to help organizations. (
