w2bi, Inc. strengthens its customer commitment by appointing Derek DiPerna as President of w2bi. Mr. DiPerna has been well known in the wireless industry where he most recently served as General Manager with Microsoft in the US Operator Channel group.

Mr. DiPerna has 16 years of experience in the wireless industry and 9 years with Microsoft where he has overseen the commercialization of over 100 smartphones in North America. Prior to Microsoft, Derek was involved in multiple entrepreneurial wireless companies, and was a member of the technical staff for Verizon Wireless Network Engineering team focused on deploying and optimizing CDMA and AMPS technologies. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on telecommunications and computer science from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
