Prospective undergraduate students seeking entrance into George Fox University for the spring 2012 semester have until Tuesday, Nov. 15, to apply for admission. Those who act after that date are still eligible to apply but will be considered on a space-available basis.

All prospective students who apply and get accepted are eligible for college scholarships that include merit scholarships based on high school academic performance (GPA, SAT Reading and Math score and ACT composite score). Merit scholarships range from $6,000 to $15,000 per year, with the top amount reserved for National Merit finalists and semifinalists, National Hispanic Scholars or National Achievement Scholars.

George Fox undergraduate students have more than 40 majors to choose from. Forbes ranks George Fox as one of the top 20 Christian colleges in the country, and the university is also among the top 40 schools in the nation in percentage of students who study abroad (U.S. News & World Report, 2011). More than half the school’s undergraduate students participate in a study-abroad experience before they graduate.

In addition, George Fox is one of only 11 schools – joining the likes of Yale, Dartmouth, Cal Tech and the University of Chicago – that participates in the Richter Scholars Program, a national initiative that funds undergraduate and graduate individual research projects.
