Pascal’s experience and achievements in developing sales will help us strengthen our position as a leading technology CRO.

Pascal Royet, former Director at Medidata Solutions, joins Clinovo as Vice-President of Business Operations, bringing with him over 23 years of experience in sales and business development. Pascal’s addition to this customer-driven organization will further expand Clinovo’s fast growing business.

In his new role as VP of Business Operations, Pascal will manage sales, marketing and staffing activities. Leveraging his many years of experience and relationships in the life sciences industry, Pascal will solidify Clinovo’s business locally and develop new business accounts in Northern California, then expand the company’s geographic market.

Prior to Clinovo, Pascal worked as a Director for Medidata Solutions, where he was responsible for the Northern California region, generating millions in sales. Pascal’s business accounts included some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies.

Before working for Medidata Solutions, Pascal started three successful divisions of a European conglomerate with total sales of $40 million and developed the US Western Market for three EDC companies. He is also the founding member of two startups selling software in the life sciences industry: CDC Solutions, acquired by Liquent, and Pangen Biosystems.

The new addition to the executive management team brings Clinovo’s experience and skill set to a new level. With a record of continuously increasing sales, Pascal is dedicated to bringing the right solution to Clinovo’s customers’ needs and requirements. “This is a major addition to our team”, says Ale Gicqueau, President & CEO at Clinovo. “Pascal’s experience and achievements in developing sales will help us strengthen our position as a leading technology CRO.”

Pascal will be joining an already well established team of industry experts, among which Marc Desgrousilliers, CTO; Joe Laver, Sr. Director of Biometrics; and Trisha Heredia, Director of Business Development and Staffing. Clinovo also recently opened an office in San Diego with Matt Smith, former CEO of Clinimetrics, as managing director.
