Air New Zealand Selects Viator, Inc. as its Preferred Destination Activities Provider

Partnership marks first connection to Viator’s new dynamic API System.

Air New Zealand (, a Star Alliance member, has selected Viator, Inc., parent company of – the leading resource for researching and booking trip activities and experiences at the best prices – as its preferred partner for global destination activities.

Air New Zealand, the world’s leading airline for direct flights to the South Pacific, is enhancing its customer offering with a direct and seamless link to Viator’s more than 9,000 tours and activities in hundreds of destinations around the world. Through the “Holidays” tab on the airline’s newly revamped website and via special email offers, Air New Zealand customers are able to research and book amazing experiences in destinations on the airline’s network including New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, Japan, and cities throughout Europe and the United States. Travelers can uncover and experience activities like:

  •     Heli Hiking the Fox Glacier in Franz Josef
  •     A Day of Adventure in Queenstown with a jet boat ride, helicopter flight and white water rafting
  •     Skydiving in Rotorua
  •     Wine tasting with a Winery Tour in the Yarra Valley near Melbourne
  •     A full-day snorkeling cruise through the Fijian Islands

Air New Zealand is the first affiliate partner to be linked into the new Viator dynamic API system with a direct connection to the company’s reservation system. The new technology enables Viator affiliate partners to provide their customers with enhanced search capabilities – as well as real-time pricing and access to the latest deals and special offers.
