From community outreach on local, regional, and national levels to continuing our support of U.S. military service members, these new scholarships will provide adults that otherwise could not continue their education the opportunity to earn their degrees.

Colorado State University-Global Campus (CSU-Global) is pleased to announce that it has initiated new institutional scholarship programs for university students in the 2012 Fiscal Year.

“We are excited to further our mission of making higher education more attainable to underserved and in need populations through the creation of these scholarship programs,” said Dr. Jon Bellum, Senior Vice President and Provost of CSU-Global. “From community outreach on local, regional, and national levels to continuing our support of U.S. military service members, these new scholarships will provide adults that otherwise could not continue their education the opportunity to earn their degrees.”

The scholarship programs range in amount from covering the tuition costs for a full degree program to covering per credit hour costs. Scholarship opportunities are available for a variety of student groups for all undergraduate and graduate programs currently offered by CSU-Global:

  •     CSU-Global First Generation Scholarship
  •     CSU-Global Mission Scholarship
  •     U.S. Military Service Member and Dependent Graduate Studies Scholarships
  •     Academic Excellence Scholarship
  •     Vocational/Technical School Transfer Scholarship
  •     Law Enforcement Scholarship
  •     Community Service Scholarship
  •     Aurora Public Schools Scholarship
  •     DPS Denver Center of International Studies Adult Guardian Scholarship

Each new scholarship program has specific eligibility criteria and terms and conditions but general requirements include that (1) applicants must meet all admissions requirements, and be enrolled in a degree-seeking program; (2) standard tuition rate applies, with the exception of military scholarships which will calculate at the military tuition rate; and (3) award amounts will be calculated based on full-time status at CSU-Global (12 undergraduate credit hours/6 graduate credit hours per semester).
