J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. has launched OSHA Incident Tracker, an online tool providing subscribers with workplace injury and illness management capabilities for OSHA 300 and State Workers’ Compensation recording and reporting requirements. The online format makes it easier and quicker to comply with OSHA’s recordkeeping requirements – anytime, anywhere.

The basic version of the OSHA Incident Tracker helps subscribers to determine whether an injury or illness is recordable and provides them with step-by-step guidance for capturing incident-related information that will be reported on Forms 300, 301, and 300A. The service then calculates an organization’s incident rate and helps subscribers identify and address safety issues. Through the basic version, subscribers can also sort data and generate reports, including a Sharps Injury Log.

The full version of the OSHA Incident Tracker is up to date with the most current First Report of Injury and other related forms as they are revised by states, or when federal or state recordkeeping requirements change. Single entry enables organizations to enter injury and illness information once for both OSHA Form 300 and workers’ comp first report of injury recordkeeping and reporting, while the system collects all information for the employee’s state for the First Report of Injury (FROI) form and for the OSHA 300 related forms. Through the full version, subscribers also have access to the J. J. Keller Personal Assistant – direct access to the company’s subject matter experts to receive personal guidance on regulatory questions. The service provides companies with advanced reporting and analysis tools to assist them in evaluating incidents, costs and more.

Travis Rhoden, workplace safety subject matter expert at J. J. Keller, said, “OSHA, and other regulatory agencies, are constantly making changes that affect recordkeeping requirements and forms. The OSHA Incident Tracker helps companies stay on top of those changes because we’re keeping the forms and information current for them. With the impending change to Form 300 to add the column for musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), having a service that is constantly updated is extremely valuable."

The service, available at two levels to assist companies with different recordkeeping needs, is priced as follows:

  •          The Basic Incident Tracker is regularly priced at $149 per subscription per year. For a limited time, J. J. Keller is offering an introductory price of $99/year.
  •
  •     The Full Incident Tracker is priced at $395/year.
  •
  •     Both subscriptions offer discounts for multiple users and multiple years.

Rustin Keller, Vice President of Business Services at J. J. Keller, said, “The OSHA Incident Tracker provides companies with data analysis above and beyond federal and state requirements to help organizations better manage injuries and illnesses. We’re not just providing them with a means to track their incidents; we're helping them to take a deeper look at their records so that they can make meaningful improvements to their incident rates."
