How do elementary school students learn math effectively and retain the information for a lifetime? How can educators design instruction to raise student achievement for all types of learners?
At this year’s conference for the National Council of Teachers of Math (NCTM), Kevin Judd, Vice President of Whizz Education, creator of the online math tutoring program, Math-Whizz, will discuss the magic mix of elements that students need to master math that is behind the design of Math-Whizz, an award-winning program that is raising student achievement for thousands of students around the world.
Judd, a former math teacher and Curriculum Director, will reveal the pedagogical principles of Math-Whizz on Oct. 27 from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. in St. Louis, MO.
