Many professionals aspire to be cited for their works, to be sought out and recognized as an expert in their industry. This honor was recently bestowed upon Dr. Beck of DC Practice Tools (http://www.dcpracticetools.com), as he was asked to be interviewed about his vast experience in the field of chiropractic marketing.
Dr. Beck was contacted by a student from the University of California at Riverside and asked if he could make time in his schedule to be interviewed. The student went on to explain that he was taking an internet marketing course and every student was assigned a niche (chiropractors, plumbers, dentists) and told to create an online marketing plan for these professions. He goes on to explain that he was assigned chiropractors, in his research he found Dr. Beck’s Chiropractic Marketing site. Seeing the wealth of information found on Dr. Beck’s chiropractic marketing site, the student found it to be a great reference tool for his study. This confirmed his assessment that Dr. Beck seemed to be an authority in the industry. He goes on to ask if it would it be alright to ask him a few questions either through email or phone about Chiropractic Marketing and ROI.
Being that this interview was the actual assignment for this student, Dr. Beck happily obliged and set up the appointment for a “question and answer” session about the marketing and advertising of a chiropractic practice and other industry questions. The interviewer explained that these questions would not relate to Dr. Beck’s specific practice. However, what this student might not have been aware of was that Dr. Beck’s specific practice is indeed chiropractic marketing. So not only did the student hit the money when he found Dr. Beck’s chiropractic marketing blog, he tapped into the mother lode of chiropractic marketing information when he sought Dr. Beck’s expertise and assistance for his assignment. He probably didn’t even realize he was interviewing an industry leader, but he knows it now.
A few of the topics covered in the interview were;
- Marketing training in Chiropractic College
- Calculating Lifetime Value of a Patient
- Return on Investment (ROI)
The complete interview titled; “A Student Interviews Me On Chiropractic Marketing” was published this month and can be found on the DC Practice Tools (http://www.dcpractictetools.com) blog. It’s probably safe to say the University of California at Riverside student earned an “A” on this assignment.
