No one can guarantee it will snow on any given day. But now when nature disappoints, workers at Shawnee Peak can get to work making their own. The ski resort has recently added to their extensive array of equipment with snow guns, skis, snowboards, helmets and boots.

The two new HKD Super Crystal Fan Guns oscillate 300 degrees, have the capacity to convert 250 gallons of water/min into snow and throw snow 150 feet.

Additions to their rental gear stock include 100 Elan Rocker skis, 75 Dalbello ski boots, 75 Burton snowboards, 100 Burton boots and 60 helmets.
