“Our interoperable systems meet our objective of making the users’ health information as accessible as possible while maintaining the security and safety of every individual,“said Jason Brown, President and Co-Founder of VITA Products, Inc.

VITA Products, Inc., a company offering a first-of-its-kind identification and contactless payment band, announced that it will use Microsoft HealthVault, an online personal health platform, to enable its customers to organize, store and instantly access their online medical identification and information. Microsoft’s innovative software connects with the VITA Emergency Response Profile (ERP), which works with the VITAband, the first in VITA Product Inc.’s line of wearable accessories that store emergency contact and medical information, while offering contactless payment functionality.
Microsoft HealthVault is a personal health application platform that enables individuals to store, share and manage their health information online, and make that information available to healthcare providers and family members that they select. Users are able to store information from multiple sources, and can combine several health records and medical images together into one HealthVault account. Users also have the ability to organize multiple medications, track prescriptions and manage a chronic condition by using online tools to track that specific condition, contingent upon if the provider has set up a connection. VITAband launched this past July as an innovative identification and contactless payment method using VISA’s paywave contactless payment chip. In addition to contactless transaction, VITA products offer safety, convenience and peace of mind in that users have interoperability between their VITA products ERP and HealthVault platforms. For example, the VITAband user can pre-populate their VITAband ERP with information in their HealthVault account and vice versa with one click of the mouse. The user-friendly system offers users ultimate control over their health information, be it for an emergency or simply to organize and track medical records.
“The Microsoft HealthVault ecosystem consists of cutting edge companies and we are honored to be a part of this growing, respected and secured market of health professionals,” said David Waxman, CEO and Co-Founder of VITA Products, Inc.
“Our interoperable systems meet our objective of making the users’ health information as accessible as possible while maintaining the security and safety of every individual,“ said Jason Brown, President and Co-Founder of VITA Products, Inc. “We are excited to offer our customers connectivity with Microsoft HealthVault, a best in class and groundbreaking personal health platform.”
VITAband is offered online at http://www.vitaband.net for $39.95. The inaugural VITAband purchase includes a one-year subscription to the Emergency Response Profile and the actual band. Annual Emergency Response Profile renewal is $19.95.
