The Construction Defect Center has launched a national investigation aimed at identifying homeowners, who have issues with a specific home siding product called Gentek metal siding. The group says, "We want to hear from homeowners, who have seen peeling, cracking, chipping, or inconsistencies with the color of their home's Gentek metal siding. If you have experienced Gentek siding problems we want to hear from you, and if possible we want pictures as well. In some instances this product was sold with the promise it would last decades, and some homeowners appear to be having problems in just a few years after installation."
