Rosetta Translation Adds to Twitter Success With Facebook Page

London-based Rosetta Translation keeps up with the social networking buzz with the addition of its own page.

Rosetta Translation Limited, a language services provider with offices primarily in the UK and China, has built on the success of the launch of its Twitter page in November 2010 (@RosettaT - for any new followers) with its Facebook counterpart. The translation company created the Facebook account earlier in the year but has been working hard to build the page into an interesting and worthwhile ‘wall’ to visit.

Clients, freelancers and employees alike are being encouraged to ‘like’ the page and to keep up to date with the regular status updates and information shared through links, photos and suchlike. The language service provider’s company blog is also shared on the site so ‘friends’ of Rosetta Translation are notified when a new blog article has been posted. The company is keen to see as many comments, questions and opinions on their wall as possible.

“We hope that by creating an active presence on this social networking giant we will become more visible and accessible as a translation company, both on an international and UK-wide scale” says Manchandan Sumray, Head of Business Development for the translation agency's London office. “We regularly update our status, and are keen to share important news and key events in the company’s life. Recent updates have included reaching the 5000th client and also the 5000th project, both of which are important milestones in our business history” she continues.

It’s not all about business though, and some light relief has been provided in the form of humorous translation blunders, photos and jokes, reminding everyone why translation should be left to the professionals.
