Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) October 30, 2011
FluidEdge Consulting has been awarded one of the most impressive and prestigious small business honors in the Philadelphia area—acceptance to the Philadelphia 100 list.
The list, determined by The Wharton Small Business Development Center, the Philadelphia Business Journal and the Entrepreneur’s Forum of Philadelphia, is presented to flourishing small businesses in the region that have shown significant growth. FluidEdge, which ranked in the top 20 of the Philadelphia 100 list, was nominated for its recent expansion, which has resulted in a growth in revenue from $500,000 two years ago to $2 million in 2010.
"We are thrilled and honored to be nominated to the Philadelphia 100 list," said Shawn Archambault, President of FluidEdge. "Over the past couple years, we have really worked hard to expand our business and thrive, even in a down economy. This is truly a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our staff."
Founded in 2007, FluidEdge has become a leader in the Health Care management and consulting market, delivering innovative customer solutions with a highly experienced senior team. FluidEdge has been successful solving complex concerns for the ever-evolving Health Care industry.
The Philadelphia 100 is a merit-based program, and only companies that are amongst the fastest growing, privately held organizations in the area are eligible. The integrity of the process and the resulting list makes the Philadelphia 100 one of the most sought-after awards in the region.
"Each October, the Philadelphia 100 project is highlighted in the Philadelphia Business Journal," said Therese Flaherty, Director of the Wharton Small Business Development Center. "The supplement offers a glimpse into the workings of these companies and provides information on their vital statistics. FluidEdge was selected from the hundreds of entries that were submitted for consideration.”
FluidEdge was honored at a gala awards ceremony on Thursday, October 27 at the Annenberg Center on the University of Pennsylvania campus. Lyn Doyle, host and executive producer of CN8’s "It's Your Call," hosted the ceremony. Companies that were honored will also be featured in the November 4 issue of the Philadelphia Business Journal.
