TPC Wire & Cable Corp. has added Cable Glands for Hazardous Areas to their current line of high performance cable products for use in abusive environments. These cable glands meet the newest IECEx and ATEX Standards, as well as, Ex-d and Ex-e ratings.
Cable Glands for Hazardous Areas fit into TPC’s product line and value proposition as they are rated for hazardous areas, meet the most stringent ratings and are made of the highest quality materials and used in abusive environments. Hazardous Markets include Oil & Gas, Refineries, Mining and Military / Navy.

In addition, the cable glands have some unique features that make installation easier; including an Innovative Interlocking Armour Cone, a Dual Seal on the inner and outer sheath of the cable and a larger wrenching nut for easier installation. They are approved for Zones 1, 2, 20, 21, 22 and Gas groups IIA, IIB, IIC and Apparatus Group III. Adapts to temperature ranges from -60°C to +105°C. They hold an IP 68 5 Bar, EN 60529 rating and are halogen and phosphorous free.
