AnswerLab, the user experience research partner trusted by the world’s leading brands, today announced it ranks 75th on the San Francisco Business Times list of the Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies in the Bay Area.
This is the third consecutive year that AnswerLab has received this recognition, and it is the only research firm to have garnered that achievement. Growing 49% from 2008 to 2010, AnswerLab’s continued expansion has been due, in part, to the growth in the mobile market.
In addition to the increased demand to understand customers’ experience with smartphones, tablets, and mobile apps, AnswerLab attributes the firm’s growth to the deep relationships it has developed with clients. AnswerLab’s CEO Amy Buckner Chowdhry said, “Our clients partner with us throughout their product development process. AnswerLab’s growth is a testament to the talent of our employees and their ability to build strong partnerships with our clients. Global brands trust our insights to help guide their user experience decisions.”
The San Francisco Business Times partners with PricewaterhouseCoopers on an annual basis to conduct research and produce the Top 100 Fastest Growing Private Companies List. The list compiles the fastest growing independent and privately-held organizations in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. Private firms are ranked by revenue growth from 2008 to 2010.
The San Francisco Business Times ranking is one of a number of accolades AnswerLab has recently earned. AnswerLab was also recently named an Inc. 5000 company, a list of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S., for a third year. AnswerLab’s CEO Amy Buckner Chowdhry was selected as one of 10 women to receive Ernst & Young LLP's 2011 Entrepreneurial Winning Women award. Earlier this year, the company earned a finalist spot on Inc.’s Top Small Company Workplaces competition.
