Alpharetta, GA (PRWEB) November 14, 2011
LocumTenens.com has released the results of its 2011 Compensation and Employment Survey including a comprehensive section on Medicare. Almost 48 percent of respondents do not favor the Medicare reforms implemented by the Affordable Care Act, and nearly 45 percent are either undecided or unfamiliar with the changes. Only seven percent believe the changes will be positive.
The 2011 LocumTenens.com Salary Survey publishes information about the annual full-time compensation of physicians and certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), as well as salary breakdowns by region, years in practice, and gender. Survey respondents represent physicians who practice on a locum tenens basis as well as those with permanent salaries. Respondent demographics included in the reports include region of practice, board certification, and time frame for making the next job change. This year’s survey also includes physicians’ opinions about Medicare and the reforms put in place by the Affordable Care Act.
The 2011 LocumTenens.com Physician’s Salary Survey also provides detailed reports specifically highlighting anesthesia, emergency medicine, radiology, primary care, psychiatry and surgery. http://www.locumtenens.com/physician-careers/physician-salary.
