Wine enthusiasts and tourists alike can now navigate wineries throughout Northern California’s wine region and plan unique itineraries from one winery to the next.

We wanted to give users an easier way to plan wine trips. With our site you can find wineries, read reviews, build an itinerary, save it and share it with friends. It's simple and it's a helpful tool.

NapaMapa officials unveiled their new website to the public today which is dedicated to helping tourists, wine enthusiasts and travelers find wineries and tasting rooms according to their preferences in Napa and Sonoma counties.

NapaMapa, a web-based, user review and local search company, developed the http://www.NapaMapa.com website to allow users the opportunity to navigate through the hundreds of Northern California’s wineries and help plan a detailed itinerary from one winery to the next, based on the user’s location preference, budget, varietal choice, and dining selection.

“We wanted to give users an easier way to plan wine trips,” said Adam Herman, Co-Founder of NapaMapa. “With our site you can find wineries, read reviews, build an itinerary, save it and share it with friends. It’s simple and it’s a helpful tool.”

NapaMapa.com allows users to be their own tour guide in the sometimes overwhelming navigation of wine country. After choosing which varietals to focus on, a NapaMapa.com user can then decide on other options to strategically plan their trip, such as their budget, or whether or not they would like to picnic on the grounds.

“Touring wine country can be overwhelming at times,” said Matt Whorton, Co-Founder of NapaMapa. “Between the varying opening and closing times, down to reservations for certain wineries, a casual trip to Napa or Sonoma can become frustrating. Our hope it to make a wine tasting trip easy and enjoyable, allowing the user to focus on the wine experience.”

The idea for NapaMapa started nearly two years ago when businessmen Adam Herman, Matt Whorton and Jack Sheeran were living in San Francisco. Originally, the idea was to create a simple winery search. Since then, it has evolved and currently offers reviews, ratings and the ability to create your own wine drinkers profile page. The most recent addition offers themed itineraries, such as a Romantic Escape, Girls Day Out, and Boutique Wineries, which create a complete itinerary for a NapaMapa.com user with just one click.

“Our hope is the themed itineraries will bring visitors looking for some quick help in getting around a wine region.” said Jack Sheeran, Co-Founder of NapaMapa. “No need to search, or build a profile, just choose the type of trip you would like to go on and we’ll do the rest.”

NapaMapa.com will soon offer winery locations, search options, and planned itineraries for wineries across the country to further assist the average wine enthusiast.

NapaMapa, LLC (http://www.napamapa.com) is a Colorado based limited liability company. NapaMapa was founded by Adam Herman, Jack Sheeran and Matt Whorton in August 2011. They can be contacted at info(at)napamapa(dot)com for further information.
