The risks and opportunities associated with today’s mobile technology, cloud computing and social media require that corporations seek the strongest possible technology leaders. This may explain the rapid growth at Heller Search Associates, an executive recruiting firm that specializes in recruiting CIOs, CTOs and other IT leaders in multiple industries. The firm has never been busier, and it recently announced additions to its senior team.

Every company needs talented technology executives who can set and execute strategy in mobility, social media and global expansion, but those executives are in short supply.

As CEOs struggle to understand what effect cloud computing, mobile applications and social media will have on their organizations, and perhaps their careers, they are more determined than ever to attract the strongest technology leaders to their companies. This may explain the rising demand for Heller Search Associates’ CIO and senior technology recruiting services and the firm’s announcement that it added two new executives in September.

Heller Search is busier than ever as companies look to refresh their technology leadership talent, particularly around enterprise architecture, mobility, cloud computing and global technology strategy. “Every company needs talented technology executives who can set and execute strategy in mobility, social media and global expansion, but those executives are in short supply,” said Martha Heller, founder and president of Heller Search Associates. “With our reputation for cornering the market on superior executive technology talent, we are growing very quickly.

The firm recently added two new executives to its senior team to meet the growing demand.

Steve Rovniak is Heller Search's new Executive Director, responsible for all marketing, client development and digital media operations, reporting directly to Martha Heller. An IT industry veteran, Steve was on the team with Martha that launched the CIO Executive Council, a division of CIO magazine, in 2004. Steve later led the globalization of the Council, which now provides organizational development services to IT leaders at more than 900 companies worldwide.

"Launching the CIO Executive Council with Martha was an exciting and rewarding professional experience, so I am extremely pleased to be joining her firm as it prepares for strong growth," said Steve Rovniak. "Her writings and thought leadership on all things CIO over the years have cultivated a large following of IT leaders who value her advice, so there are enormous opportunities for this company."

Bill Dobbie has joined the firm as Senior Executive Recruiter. Bill has fourteen years of experience recruiting IT professionals, most recently at Liberty Mutual Insurance. As a Senior Management Recruiter, he supported a national client base from Liberty Mutual's Boston and Portsmouth, NH offices.

"The agility and efficiency of the recruiting operation are what first attracted me to Heller Search," said Bill Dobbie. "Due to Martha Heller's network and reputation, quite simply, our recruiting team has unequaled access to many more candidates who are the right fit. I wanted to be part of a firm that delivers this kind of value to its clients."
