“Anyone can match price. We certainly do. What differentiates us is service level. Here, every customer matters, regardless of company size.” Jeffrey Bova, CEO, WaveWireCable.com, leading distributor and wholesaler of wire, cable and technology products
Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) November 01, 2011
Intercoastal Technologies, Inc., (Intercoastal) a wholesaler and distributor of wire, cable and technology products to the commercial construction and infrastructure installation markets and OEM manufacturers, is now WaveWireCable.com. WaveWireCable.com will also service the professional lighting, audio, video and broadcast production, equipment and installation markets. Intercoastal came under new ownership in August of 2010, when Jeffrey Bova, President & CEO of Photomart Cine-Video LLC (PhotomartUSA), decided the company would be a strong addition to their line of broadcast, audio, video and technology equipment companies. The move to WaveWireCable.com coincides with the Lighting, Design & Integration (LDI) 2011 Show, hosted at the Orange County Convention Center October 28-30, 2011.
Says Bova, “The LDI show was the perfect forum for this announcement because the show attracts large and small integrators alike, just as WaveWireCable.com emphasizes service and offering our extensive industry knowledge to all integrators, installers & OEM manufacturers- regardless of their size.”
Parent company Photomart CineVideo, LLC was founded in 1946, and focused exclusively on distribution and sales of professional video equipment, professional audio equipment and broadcast equipment. Bova took ownership in 2008, “Photomart had a loyal, strong local Orlando and National client base, but the company lacked a web presence.” With his background in online sales and web retail (he founded his first company, tall & short men’s clothing retailer ForTheFit.com in 2006), Bova felt that with PhotomartUSA.com, he could bring the company into the Internet age, while retaining their long-standing tradition of customer service and detailed product knowledge. Intercoastal Technologies presented similar opportunities, a local reputation for strong industry knowledge and service, but a lack of web presence. A retail website was established shortly after Bova tookover, but “there was more we could do: greater synergy with our existing companies and an ability to share our extensive product and cross-industry knowledge base with a greater number of customers nationwide.”
The move to WaveWireCable.com represents that shift. A very limited group of companies offer both audio, video, and lighting equipment as well as the wire and cable to support the installation and integration. To date, these markets are served by big-box style vendors whose emphasis is on price and catering to only the largest integrators and installers, while largely ignoring the smaller ones. “Anyone can match price. We certainly do. What differentiates us is service level. At WaveWireCable.com, every customer matters, regardless of company size.” WaveWireCable.com also believes that its success will be driven by their superior product knowledge. “WaveWireCable.com represents our enhanced ability to serve not only the existing installer, integrator and OEM customers, but also lighting, audio, and video installers and integrators, which because of our 60+ years experience in professional broadcasting and production equipment, we are better able to serve than any of our competitors.” Says Bova. “It’s no different than big-box stores in the consumer market: price is a factor for everyone, and we offer competitive prices. But our service level and knowledge base is unmatched, and that’s the true WAVE of the future.”
