Hatsize, the leading cloud automation software provider for hands-on demos and training, today announced that it has hired Edwin (Andy) McBride as Vice President of Operations. McBride will be responsible for leading the Hatsize Cloud global datacenter operations and managing the solution architect, infrastructure and customer support teams.
McBride is joining Hatsize at a time of accelerated growth, where demand is increasing exponentially for Hatsize, especially in Asia. As Vice President of Operations, McBride will oversee plans to expand the Hatsize Cloud datacenter operations and determine ways to deliver additional value to more customers in new markets worldwide.

Overall, McBride brings sixteen years of industry leading Virtual Lab and operations experience, bringing the Hatsize leadership team’s combined industry experience to more than 125 years. Prior to joining Hatsize, McBride was Manager of Global Lab Strategy for Citrix Systems, Inc. where he was responsible for driving the strategic vision for lab utilization for the services organization.
Prior to Citrix, McBride was the Chief Architect and Manager for the Hewlett-Packard Virtual Lab overseeing all operations, which enabled over 60% of the revenue for HP Education Services. During McBride’s leadership, the HP Virtual Lab was awarded two ASTD awards. Prior to HP, McBride was a trainer and instructional designer for the mobility space. He has a deep knowledge of training needs and best practices.
McBride holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Physics from the University of the State of New York.
