Just in time for the holidays, The Wisconsin Cheeseman announces its new 65th anniversary catalog and updated website featuring more than 170 new and classic food gifts http://www.wisconsincheeseman.com.

The Wisconsin Cheeseman started as a husband and wife business, sending out its first mail order flyer with three gift items in 1947. Six decades and millions of catalog mailings later, the 65th anniversary catalog features high-quality gift packages and gift baskets, top notch cheeses, sausage, chocolates, candies, fruit cakes, sugar-free treats and more.

The company is located in the historic cheese making state of Wisconsin. The heritage of cheese mastery is an ideal home base for this business, and The Wisconsin Cheeseman is very proud of its state’s accomplishments. According to the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board, Wisconsin has more than 600 varieties of cheese, more dairy farms than any other state in the U.S., more Master Cheesemakers, and more international cheese awards than any other state or country. From unique, farmstead cheeses developed by small family dairies to masterfully recreated classics, the choices available are of the utmost quality and craftsmanship.

One of the catalog’s truly unique cheeses is True Bleu Cheddar, a blend of natural cheddar with flecks of blue cheese carefully aged between 6-10 months.

“Food gifts are appreciated because they can be shared at the holidays,” says Becky Henke, vice president of The Wisconsin Cheeseman. “For example, our Chocolate Walnut Cheese Fudge is an especially tasty hostess gift.”

In addition to cheese, The Wisconsin Cheeseman continues to make many of its own pastries, cheese spreads and chocolates using recipes that have been passed down for generations. Its reputation for high standards is supported by numerous awards at the state and national level for chocolates and cheeses.
