Innovative online gift registry service, NewlyWish, today launched their new initiative, Registry Re-Patterned, bringing together a group of renowned wedding industry tastemakers with luxury home and lifestyle products company Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton to offer couples pre-mixed tablesettings designed to make their tabletop registries more personal and stylish.

Online wedding gift registry company, NewlyWish (, is aiming to reinvent the way couples think about tabletop registry. With the profile of engaged couples continuing to change, much more wedding planning happening on-line, and the entire wedding industry increasingly focused on offering bespoke options to create truly unique events, NewlyWish today announced their latest innovation to meet their goal of helping couples create registries that are as special and unique as every other party of their weddings.

NewlyWish has partnered with luxury lifestyle products group – Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton (‘WWRD’) – to offer pre-mix-matched tablesettings styled by renowned wedding industry tastemakers that utilize multiple patterns from the WWRD catalogue. All of the collections are available exclusively through NewlyWish and couples can simply add them 'as-is' to their registries or use them as inspiration to create their own personalized collections.

“Our mantra is that couples’ registries should truly reflect their personal styles and how they live,” says NewlyWish co-Founder, Amanda Allen. “Tabletop is one of the most important parts of registry and what we’ve seen is that people generally register for a single dinnerware pattern, and sometimes a second – one for everyday use, and one for more formal entertaining. But what about the couples who want to express a little more personality in their dinnerware? No one currently offers pre-mixed collections that they can add directly to their registries on-line.”

“So, we’ve assembled our wonderful group of wedding industry tastemakers, all known and sought after for their unique creative vision, to put together tablesettings that reflect their signature styles, using WWRD’s beautifully-crafted china and crystal as raw materials, and that couples can add to their registries with one click of a mouse.”

For WWRD, the initiative fits squarely within their goals. Explains Lord Wedgwood, International Ambassador for Waterford Wedgwood, “As we recently celebrated Wedgwood's 250th Anniversary, it is paramount that we as a company treasure our history but most importantly stay relevant with today's couples. We do this by partnering with ahead-of-the-curve companies like NewlyWish, that make registering more individualized and unique, in addition to offering exciting options for an ever more demanding and discerning consumer.”

Each of the NewlyWish Tastemakers has created a signature collection that features a five-piece place setting, flatware, crystal, and coordinating accessories. From renowned Eventiste, Marcy Blum’s ‘Rhapsody in Blues’ collection which uses a foundation of china and crystal in various shades of blue to create an elegant but playful tablesetting, to Bridal Atelier owner, Mark Ingram’s ‘Classic with a Modern Twist’, which exudes a more traditional bridal vibe but reveals beautiful and modern details in much the same way as the gowns he features at his shop, there’s a style for everyone.

In addition to Marcy and Mark, NewlyWish's other tastemakers are, Abby Larson, founder of leading wedding blog, Style Me Pretty, Ceci Johnson, founder of stationery and corporate ID house, Ceci New York; and Mayra Castillo and Xochitl Gonzalez of event design firm, Always a Bridesmaid. NewlyWish is also thrilled to include spokesperson and entertaining guru for Waterford Wedgwood, Jorge Perez; and, last but not least, International Ambassador for Waterford Crystal and Wedgwood China, Lord Wedgwood.
