Chevy recently announced that they are on pace to report their best annual sales in history in 2011. The company responded by investing approximately $215 million in the Saginaw, MI Metal Casting Operation for production of future engine block and head casting work on General Motors products, including Cadillac. The plant will also be creating or retaining 275 jobs.
Michigan Governor Rick Snyder presented General Motors Global Chief Manufacturing Officer Diana Tremblay with a proclamation declaring November 3rd as “Chevy Centennial Day” in Michigan. While Bill Jacobs Cadillac is not located in Michigan, they plan to celebrate none the less.
