Lauri Hines - President of Sperry Van Ness/Promus Commercial, AMO (http://www.promuscommercial.com) - recently graduated from the 2011 Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy, a program established by the CCIM Institute to help foster the development of future leaders in the commercial investment real estate industry. Graduates were honored during the CCIM Institute’s fall business meetings Oct. 10-14 at the historic Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix.
Ms. Hines was among 14 elite Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIMs) from across the country who participated in a wide range of leadership development and team-building activities throughout the year.
She has been involved in the management and leasing of income-producing commercial properties since 1984 and was dubbed by The Wall Street Transcript as one of “the nation’s foremost real estate authorities.”
Her company is one of the few American commercial real estate management firms whose president holds the dual designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member and Certified Property Manager, and is one of only 527 firms worldwide to hold the Accredited Management Organization designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management.
A licensed California Real Estate Broker, Ms. Hines is a former recipient of the “Certified Property Manager of the Year” award and the “Exceptional Contribution Award” from the Institute of Real Estate Management. She has also received the Channel 10 News Leadership Award. Channel 10 is San Diego's ABC affiliate.
Established in 2003, the Leadership Development Academy has been designed to build a network of CCIM leaders whose increased awareness and commitment to service will help to shape the future of the CCIM Institute, one of the largest global commercial real estate networks. Participants also develop personal talents and skills that impact and influence their everyday business relationships.
The academy is named in memory of Jay W. Levine, the second individual to earn the CCIM designation and CCIM Institute’s first president. Mr. Levine was an inspirational industry leader for nearly four decades prior to his death in January 2002.
