Presentation to Address the Shift to a Life Cycle Management Approach for PCI DSS 2.0 Compliance

Agiliance®, Inc., the leading independent provider of Security and Operational Risk Management (SRM) solutions for Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) programs, today announced that its Vice President of Products and Alliances Arti Raman has been invited to speak at the 11th Annual San Francisco ISACA Fall Conference. The conference will be held November 7 – 9, 2011 at Hotel Nikko in San Francisco, Calif.

Sharing the stage with Nigel Tranter, a principal at Payment Software Company, Inc. (a leading Qualified Security Assessor), Mrs. Raman will explore the impacts of PCI DSS 2.0 on an organization’s strategy, information technology and security operations, as well as outline ways to enable faster certification at lower cost by shifting to a life cycle management approach.

The new requirements of PCI DSS 2.0, which took effect on January 1, 2011 and will be fully enforced in the next couple of months, present a daunting task when it comes to improving your organization's existing security policies to include virtualized environments, policy governance, risk remediation and 100 percent asset coverage. In response, Agiliance created the Agiliance Continuous Compliance Service™ (CCS) for PCI, which revolutionizes the way organizations approach PCI compliance. Agiliance CCS for PCI is the only solution in the market today that provides a complete set of content, tools, and audit-ready reports that an organization and their auditors require for all five stages of the PCI compliance life cycle: Scoping, Gap Analysis, Remediation, Certification, and Maintenance. The service has been developed based on input from leading Fortune 2000 companies and Qualified SAs.

Drawing from this rich global experience, Mrs. Raman and Mr. Tranter will share their insights and views on the challenges of PCI DSS 2.0, and the strategies necessary to automate an organizations compliance process.
