As a result of our experience from working together on such projects we identified how under a unified collaborative venture - CirrusIQ - we could better address the specialist needs of VCs and ISVs. The high-tech market needs to focus on the fact that whilst being ‘cool’ is good, profitability is even better.”

Cloudspotting’s Andrew Booblier elaborated. “It’s time VCs saw a real return on more of their investments. The old model of ‘We invest in 10 startups, of which 8 will fail, 1 will be OK and 1 will be a success’ is no longer viable and not fair on the ISVs involved, or satisfactory for the stakeholders in the VC fund. Our experience in evolving brands to have values and market resonance, which is both sustainable and profitable, will give real value to both the ISV and the VC.”
