Last year American Income Life Insurance Company employees donated a whopping 15,000 pounds of nonperishable food items to the Central Texas Food for Families Campaign, and employees are gearing up to surpass that in 2011. The Company is planning a series of food-raising events during the first two weeks of November to put them on the road to breaking last year’s donation record and to promote some healthy competition among company departments. A garage sale, soup kitchen, camp-out, and scavenger hunt are set to get the employees and general public’s generosity juices flowing and to support an important cause in the community.
