Lena Taylor, Milwaukee-area attorney, is opening a new law office in the SoHi area of Milwaukee.

Our clients are people who want assistance with legal issues. We do not want to impress so much as to give them effective service.

Lena Taylor, Milwaukee-area attorney, is opening a new law office at 2611 W. State Street, Milwaukee. Lena Taylor and Associates will work in the areas of personal injury law, focusing on helping people who have been injured in automobile, truck or motorcycle accidents.

Taylor's new office is a street-level location in Milwaukee's central city, south of Highland Avenue, an area known as SoHi. SoHi is a neighborhood of mixed residential, business and commercial buildings, one that is steadily rebuilding its infrastructure and image. The offices will serve clients from all over Wisconsin, but Taylor is best known in her community, Milwaukee.

Having graduated from Rufus King High School in 1984, she received her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Lena Taylor was shaped by the city of Milwaukee and has dedicated her life to contributing back to her community in many ways. After attaining a law degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1993, she practiced as a Public Defender for the people of Milwaukee for more than two years and eventually opened Taylor and Associates Law Office, a general practice firm on the north side which was active until she was elected to the state legislature. Over the years, Taylor has continued to serve the community by holding free legal clinics in Milwaukee for those in need.

Reaching out to children and young adults struggling with the same choices that she herself faced growing up in Milwaukee, Lena Taylor frequently visits schools, youth development programs, and churches, spreading her message of responsible decision making, commitment to education, and ambitious pursuit of dreams.

Taylor’s dedicated efforts to serve her community and state have been recognized by both local and national organizations, but she notes, “Our clients are people who want assistance with legal issues. We do not want to impress so much as to give them effective service."

The phone number of her new office is 414-931-4000 or toll free at (855) 4-Lena-4-U
