Affinity Health System broke ground recently on a new outpatient clinic in Neenah, Wisconsin, that will replace their Lincoln Street clinic. Scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2012, the new building will house family medicine; internal medicine; urgent care; audiology; cardiology; ear, nose, and throat; primary care; rehabilitation services; adult walk-in clinic and more.

Flad Architects was selected to design the 32,500-square-foot clinic as part of a combined design-build team with Hoffman LLC. Built around Affinity’s Medical Home model, the clinic will focus on a coordinated team approach to personalized care to meet individual patient needs and work in partnership with the patient.

The design of the new clinic features an open concept with two-story spaces and views to the outside. Exam rooms are universally design and can be easily converted for multiple uses.

Sustainable design and construction elements are being used throughout in an effort to pursue Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.
