Phonagraphy.com, a new arts-oriented social media website, has just announced its first contest to be launched on November 11th. In its efforts to revolutionize the global artistic community, Phonagraphy.com is inviting visual artists from around the world to bring its tagline to life. Illustrators, photographers, painters, printmakers, etc. alike are invited to creatively express in their chosen medium what the words Connect Collaborate Give Back represent to them.

The contest will begin November 11, 2011 and run through December 15th, 2011.
Top prize is $500 cash.

Our mission is to create a new ideal in social networking by helping to subsidize the arts. Members act as a collective, connecting with a common purpose to create and explore collaborative art processes. Project submissions will be uploaded from all parts of the world and woven into collaborative works of art. Charitable revenues will be accumulated from selling the finished projects as books, e-books, and videos. Member’s works that are selected from ongoing projects regularly posted on Phonagraphy.com will be paid royalties on all books, videos and media sold. Phonagraphy.com encourages artists around the world to come together in support of a common global vision.

The ArtsRevolutionz Contest is designed not only to give artists an opportunity to witness firsthand what the Phonagraphy mission is all about, but it also provides them with an opportunity to walk away with a valuable cash prize in the process. The first-place winner will walk away with $500 while four runners-up will each enjoy a custom website template for a year hosted by Phonagraphy.com. Hosted Web Site packages are valued at $250 each.

To enter, artists of all mediums are invited to submit creative content that best embodies the Phonagraphy tagline: Connect Collaborate Give Back. Entrants are cordially asked to first create a Phonagraphy.com account. Members can submit up to four images that best sum up one or all of the catchwords. Entries that are deemed best representations by the ArtsRevolutionz Contest judges will not only walk away with a valuable prize, they’ll also play an integral part in revolutionizing the global artistic community by helping to support Phonagraphy.com.

“There’s an artist in all of us,” explains Phonagraphy founder, David Hoptman, “and together we can make this world we call home a better place. That’s what Phonagraphy is all about.” He goes on to add, “Acting as a collective, our members connect with a common purpose. We see ourselves as a new model in social networking, Phonagraphy.com Gives Back. The goal of the contest is to get as many creative types across the world signed into Phonagraphy.com to collaboratively help transform this commitment into reality.”
