Palm Island Indoor Water Park, located at the Clarion Inn Hotel in Batavia, NY hosted its grand opening on September 29. Conveniently located between Rochester and Buffalo, ADG is proud to have been involved in this entire project from conceptual master planning through completion.

The Palm Island Indoor Water Park includes features such as a tropical themed multi-level play structure, various tipping buckets and spray elements, and 2 three-story enclosed waterslides that exit and re-enter the building that transports visitors onto run-outs with waterfall features. Additionally, Palm Island offers a general swimming lagoon with a water basketball area and unique rockscape themed pools. For the less adventurous, or those seeking rest & relaxation, there is an illuminated adult warm spa featuring a waterfall.

ADG began meeting with owners of Palm Island Water Park in the fall of 2010 to assess their needs and provide an analysis of the property. To initiate action, owners were supplied illustrations, budgeting for the entire project, as well as turnkey pricing for ADG’s scope of work. ADG provided professional oversight and advised the owners on the development of the water park, its environmental systems and operational items. ADG also acted as the Designer/Builder for all aquatic features resulting in the project coming in on time and on budget.

The region’s Senator Michael H. Ranzenhofer, Genesee County executives and the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce are extremely pleased with this newly launched attraction and are hoping to see a 5 – 15% increase in tourism in Batavia and the surrounding area
