Writing Contest Adds to It's Growing Social Media Outlets - http://www.facebook.com/WritersAndIllustratorsOfTheFuture

A week after launching the contest on-line magazine, The Herald, L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future Contest administrators, Author Services Inc., has launched a contest Facebook page.

"Winners of the contest can now promote themselves, share pictures of their current activities including book signings, conventions and their lives as writers" Labaqui said. "We are also posting photos of our past events for winners to share. The past three years of event photos are now available and we will continue to add earlier years."

The Writers of the Future contest is the world’s most enduring and largest science fiction and fantasy contest for aspiring writers. Now in its 29th year, the contest continues to attract entrants from a worldwide audience of writers looking for the big break. Twelve quarterly winners receive prize monies and, along with selected finalists, are published in an annual anthology, L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future, (Galaxy Press), which is sold in major and independent book stores and online.

Initiated by multiple New York Times bestselling author L. Ron Hubbard the contest has honored well over 330 writers with eight of becoming New York Times bestselling authors.
