Author Cyril Smith’s published collection of ‘Christmas Tales’ to be featured at this year’s California School Library Book Exhibit in Pasadena on November 11-14

Author Cyril Smith treats everyone, young and old alike, with this wonderful holiday cheer. A short story anthology that readers will surely love and enjoy, these heart-warming Christmas Tales gives readers a chance to experience Christmas whole year round and feel its joyous lessons and warm spirit every day.

This variety of short stories, with a Christmas theme, is a great reading companion for those who enjoy a short read as opposed to a full-length novel. Readers will meet interesting characters in fascinating situations and will find each story truly heart-warming—a feeling that would remind them of Christmas.

Though each tale will interest different groups of individuals and readers, every story is sure to charm everyone. There’s “Jinty the Chuffer” that would appeal to model railway enthusiasts; “Nelly Dean” to those fascinated with wild birds; “Carriers and Carrier Bags” for those who horde items in black or plastic carrier bags; “Tenpence” might well interest those who are concerned about the homeless; “Come all ye Monstrous and Triumphant” for avid readers of old horror stories and watchers of horror films; “O Peaceful England” for musicians and music lovers; “Mea Culpa” might tempt those with a mischievous bent; and “Wotherwaffle” for hard workers who recognise the work shy in society.

This book will be featured at the California School Library Book Exhibit in Pasadena, CA on November 11-14, 2011. For more information on this book, log on to http://www.XlibrisPublishing.co.uk.
