SchoolInsight, the web-based student information system (SIS) developed by Common Goal Systems, welcomes 27 new Illinois school districts to its customer base for the 2011-12 school year. The districts have started using SchoolInsight to manage student data, simplify state reporting, and increase family communication. With the addition of these districts, SchoolInsight is now the fastest growing SIS in Illinois.
“We’re proud of our recent accomplishments,” says Mike Xakellis, CEO for Common Goal Systems. “Five years ago, SchoolInsight was a new product with no customers. Today we have 17% market share of small-to-medium sized districts – comparable to other top vendors in Illinois. This growth is a result of our commitment to customer satisfaction. We’ve benefited from the trend of unhappy school districts leaving behind their old systems in search of improved ease-of-use and lower operational costs. We look forward to building strong relationships with these new customers.”
SchoolInsight is a comprehensive system that uses the latest cloud-based technology. It’s designed for small-to-medium sized districts (under 6000 students), which are very common in the state. Users of the system gain access to student information in real-time, and require no special equipment other than the Internet and a web-browser. SchoolInsight is made in Illinois and is always up-to-date with ISBE SIS reports.

Founded in 2001, Common Goal Systems has hundreds of thousands of users worldwide.
