Crystal Ski has a long history of introducing innovative ideas to the world of skiing, most recently with its Crystal Ski Riders’ Lodge resort in Tignes.

Back for 2012, Crystal Ski Fest is the ideal opportunity to strap on your skis and battle it out on the slopes in our awesome race agenda. Whatever your ability, with coaching from the British Ski Academy, BASI and Disability Snowsport UK, as well as the local ski school, you'll be taught and motivated by the best.

At the 2012 Ski Fest, everyone will also have time to relax, have fun and participate in some fantastic skiing and après ski, culminating in a great VIP party with loads of great prizes at the end of the week!

Crystal Ski Fest is a unique event - held by skiers, for skiers. It's where we can all go to indulge in our love of ski and then boast about our timings over a couple of beers.

  •      Monday to Friday - ski instruction and training camps, video feedback in the evenings with race trainers

About Sestriere

Sestriere gained international renown during February 1997 when it hosted the World Cup Ski Races and it was selected to host the 2006 Winter Olympics. Now an international resort, it is part of the famous 'Milky Way' ski circuit and the Crystal Ski family of resorts.

About the Milky Way ski area

A magnificent area with over 400kms of pistes with excellent skiing for all grades in spectacular scenery.

Beginners slopes: most of the beginners slopes fan out in an arc from the ski school meeting place in the centre of Sestriere with easy runs from the two beginner lifts and the Jolly with two further drag lifts, ideal for first timers.

Intermediate slopes: for Crystal Ski intermediates, the skiing is on two main areas, Banchetta and Sises, offering plenty of choice from short mogul fields to long wide runs for cruising. An added bonus to the 21 lifts in the immediate Sestriere area is the amazing 89 lifts on the extensive Milky Way.

Expert slopes: the huge bowl of the Amfiteatro offers excellent skiing and the black runs at the top of Motta and Sises provide the expert with plenty of skiing. The famous Kandahar Slalom and Kandahar Banchetta runs are used in World Championship races.

About the Hotel Du Col

This comfortable 4 star hotel specially selected by Crystal Ski is situated at the foot of the slopes in the centre of Sestriere, giving you 'ski-in' access at the end of the day, The bedrooms are simply furnished, there is a cosy bar/lounge with panoramic mountain views and a large restaurant where you will enjoy 4 course evening meals with complimentary wine.
