Il Lugano, a luxury boutique hotel in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, is pleased to announce the arrival of a new culinary talent and a menu to match at da Campo Osteria. Joseph Quinn recently stepped into the role of Chef de Cuisine and his new enticing lineup of authentic regional Italian fare is now available.

Drawing bold flavors from fresh local ingredients, Chef Quinn sets the table for lunch and dinner at da Campo Osteria with classic starters, pasta and secondi. New additions include: Osso Bucco ($40) with mozzarella filled polenta, gremolata and arugula; Gnocchi Crab Carbonara ($28) with pancetta and poached egg; Lamb Meatballs Spaghetti ($26) with ricotta and arugula; and Seared Diver Scallops ($33) with truffle potatoes, balsamic onion jam and salsa verde. Da Campo’s signature dish, Fresh Pulled Mozzarella! ($16) prepared tableside, is still available and a favorite among locals. Finish the meal with a classic glass of house-made Limoncello.

Chef Joseph Quinn brings extensive experience earned at luxury resorts and private clubs through South Florida. He arrived at il Lugano from the Sanctuary Golf Club on Sanibel Island, where he served as Executive Sous Chef in charge of the culinary staff for the past two years. Previously, Quinn was at the Five-Diamond Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort Naples, starting as a cook in 2005 and departing as Banquet Sous Chef in 2009. He launched his culinary career as a Line Cook at Alfe’s Restaurant in the family beach destination of Wildwood, New Jersey, back in 1994.
